Commissions
Many of us have old photographs tucked away in a box or drawer — images of family, special places and moments that deserve to be seen again.
I create one-off, personalised artworks using your own photographs and memories, bringing together different elements to produce something completely unique to you or someone you love. It might be a portrait of a family member, a collection of generations, a much-loved pet, a meaningful place, or a combination of images that tells your family’s story.
The process is collaborative. We can meet at my studio in York, or work entirely by email, sharing photographs and ideas until the piece feels just right.
Wedding Commissions
Wedding commissions are particularly special. I have worked with brides, grooms, parents and family members to create artworks that capture much more than a single moment from the day.
I can work with professional wedding photographs alongside other meaningful images — perhaps a much-loved pet who could not be there, photographs of family members, a special place, flowers, objects or details that carry personal significance.
The finished artwork brings all of these elements together into one image, creating a very personal record of the day and the people and memories connected to it.
Price
A unique commissioned artwork, approximately 30 × 40 cm, professionally printed and presented in a bespoke handmade frame, is £295.
A £100 deposit is payable when the commission begins, with the remaining £195 payable on completion.
Every commission is different, so the first step is simply to have a conversation.
